I was able to take a look at the blog a few times while I was away, and I'd like to commend Jim on his thoughtful postings.

Meanwhile, there was a comment submitted anonymously by someone a few days ago that I just rejected because it was accusatory -- possibly defamatory -- but with no supporting evidence. I will consider accepting it for publication only if the writer provides support for his or her statements and only if he or she signs the comment with his or her real name. If you don't like that rule, and if you don't have the courage to stand behind your opinions, don't waste my time.
